Getting Started with BigShort - New Users
First, before the trading day starts, or even on the previous day, we recommend taking a look at the Seasonality Tab. This shows the historic performance of the last 30 years of SPY per calendar date. While Seasonality is a weaker force in the market, it's good to give a general directional bias for the day.

DarkFlow is a discovery tool that provides a ranked list of tickers with the most significant current Dark Pool activity. It helps traders identify where large off-exchange trades are happening across the market, rather than focusing on a specific ticker.

Understanding the UltraFlow Tab
The UltraFlow tab in BigShort is a powerful tool designed to provide traders with a holistic view of market activity within different indexes. Will I Make Money?
Many of our users consistently make thousands of dollars per day using BigShort. Some make even more. This includes a few traders who started with little to no trading experience before using our product. That said, if you're completely new to trading, BigShort may not be the right fit for you just yet.
Why You Should Rethink Setting Stop Losses and Hanging Limit Orders
Stock traders commonly use hanging limit orders to enter trades at lower prices or to secure profits at higher prices. Traders also use stop loss orders, stop-limit orders, or trailing stops to limit losses and protect capital. Despite their prevalence, these order types are ultimately harmful to traders.
Why We Don't Trade Power Hour
Power hour, the final hour of the trading day (300 PM EST), is known for its heightened activity and volatility. While this time period can present opportunities, it's not the ideal trading environment for most BigShort users, particularly those newer to the platform or trading in general.
